Policy

What can’t be sold here

Last updated: not yet published

Draft — not in force

This policy has not been reviewed by a lawyer and does not yet bind anyone. It sets out the structure the finished document will follow, so the product can be built against it. Do not rely on it, and do not launch to the public until it has been replaced.

The short version

If it is illegal to sell where you are, it is not allowed here. Beyond that, some categories are excluded because a venue like this cannot verify them safely.

Never allowed

  • Firearms, ammunition, firearm parts, and anything designed to modify a firearm.
  • Controlled substances, and equipment sold for using them.
  • Stolen goods, and devices that are activation-locked or have a blacklisted serial.
  • Counterfeits and replicas presented as genuine.
  • Recalled products.
  • Living creatures.
  • Human remains or bodily fluids.
  • Anything requiring a licence to transfer that we cannot verify.
  • Accounts, credentials, or digital goods that cannot be transferred lawfully.

How this is enforced

Listings are screened when published, and members can report anything that gets through. A report queues for human review rather than removing a listing automatically — except for a narrow set of categories where leaving it up while somebody reviews it would be the greater harm.

If your listing was removed and you think that was wrong, you can appeal and a person will look again.
